Napoli's classic Primavera

Italian Primavera Sauce from Napoli is designed around an old favorite: the cacciatore ("hunter style"), where chicken or veal is added to a tomato sauce along with onions and bell peppers. We call our sauce "Primavera" because we have also included carrots and mushrooms. The result is a hearty sauce with a light flavor - and one that turns plain pasta into a dish with garden vegetables, even if you don't have a green thumb.
